Step off the beaten path and explore the quiet beauty of Reffitt Nature Preserve! This 1.6 mile trail loops through shady forest and lush wetland, giving us a quiet space to walk, talk, and enjoy time together. It’s a tranquil escape right on the edge of Traverse City, with boardwalks crossing over Mitchell Creek and spots ideal for birdwatching.

If there has been recent rain or we are experiencing high water levels, we may encounter mud. Wear sturdy shoes (your preference on sandals, tennis shoes, boots, etc) and embrace the outdoors! Evergreen will have bug spray handy and offer simple refreshments to keep everyone hydrated. We will be meeting at the north parking lot via Oak Drive.
