Downtown May Day Photo Walk

Let’s welcome May with creativity, color, and community! On May 1st, we’re celebrating the return of spring with a festive photo walk through downtown Traverse City. Whether you love being behind the camera or in front of it, this is your chance to express yourself, explore the city in bloom, and connect with fellow Evergreeners.

Come dressed in your spring-inspired best—think florals, light colors, vintage flair, or whatever makes you feel the magic of May Day. We’ll meet at Rotary Square at 6PM, then wander through some of our favorite downtown spots during golden hour, capturing the charm of the city and the spirit of the season.

You don’t need to be a pro photographer (or even own a camera!) to join in—phones are perfect, and we’ll have some folks on hand to help with fun prompts and group shots. Whether you’re in it for the portraits, the people-watching, or the post-walk ice cream (we’ll end at Milk & Honey), it’s going to be a gorgeous, joy-filled evening.
